Studio City sits at the southeast corner of the Valley, named after the studio lot that is now CBS Studio Center. Ventura Boulevard is the main street, the Los Angeles River runs through the neighborhood, and the hills to the south hold some of the steepest residential streets in the Valley, up toward Laurel Canyon and Coldwater Canyon.
Moves here range from apartments north of Ventura to hillside homes reached by narrow canyon roads. Because Studio City is right next to the Cahuenga Pass, many moves go between Studio City and Hollywood.

Street parking near Ventura Boulevard is tight and often metered. If you live close to the boulevard, look for a loading spot on a side street and tell us where it is.
Apartments north of Ventura
Many buildings are two or three story walk-ups. The floor number and whether there is an elevator matter a lot for the crew plan.
Moving to or from Hollywood
Moves between Studio City and Hollywood usually go over the Cahuenga Pass on the 101. Plan the start time to stay out of the peak hours.
