Downtown Glendale along Brand Boulevard, near the Americana at Brand and the Glendale Galleria, has many mid-rise and high-rise apartment buildings. To the north and east, neighborhoods climb into the Verdugo foothills, with Montrose further up the valley.
Downtown moves are about building rules and elevators. Foothill moves are about steep streets and stairs. Most Glendale moves are one or the other.
