Movers in La Crescenta
La Crescenta is an unincorporated foothill community in the Crescenta Valley, north of Glendale. Here is what to plan for when you move there, from Kobe Moving in Van Nuys.
Moving in La Crescenta
La Crescenta, counted by the Census together with Montrose as La Crescenta-Montrose, is an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County in the Crescenta Valley. It is bordered by Glendale to the south and west, La Canada Flintridge to the east, Sunland-Tujunga to the northwest and the Angeles National Forest to the north. The 210 freeway runs through its southern part, and Foothill Boulevard and Honolulu Avenue are the main streets.
The neighborhoods climb from the freeway toward the San Gabriel Mountains, with streets such as Pennsylvania Avenue and Dunsmore Avenue running up to the wilderness park at the top. Because it is unincorporated, local services come from Los Angeles County rather than a city hall.
From our Van Nuys base, La Crescenta is east on the 210, in the Crescenta Valley.

Doorways and hallways
If your home has small doorways or tight hallways, large pieces may need to come apart. Tell us about them.
Moves to the Valley
The Valley connects to the Crescenta Valley by the 210. Most moves from Van Nuys use it.
Parking and permits in La Crescenta
La Crescenta is unincorporated, with no city government, so Los Angeles County parking rules apply. Read the posted signs on your block before the day. The Vehicle Code gives local governments power over where heavy commercial vehicles park on residential streets, with an exception for pickups and deliveries of goods at a building on the street.
